The heads of postgraduate departments and principals of constituent colleges of Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRAU) have been asked to submit letter of intent for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) evaluation. The government has asked the principal of Ramdayalu Singh College, a constituent unit of the university, to motivate the heads of postgraduate departments and principals of constituent colleges to prepare for the NAAC accreditation.

New admissions to Patna University in various courses had to return disappointed for two days, as their seniors disrupted administrative work with protests and clashes. On Wednesday, hundreds of members of Patna University Students' Union (PUSU), staged a protest in front of the main administrative block of the university, demanding a constitution for the union.
Vaishali: Mob indulge in stone pelting to protest against murder
Police had to face the wrath of a mob, which indulged in stone pelting and arson at Hasanpur village in Vaishali district on Wednesday to protest the murder of Ajay Rai. The mob also attacked the house of Pramod Patel, who was suspected to be involved in the murder.
