New community pharmacy counter opened at MCH

Follow us:WhatsappFacebookTwitterTelegram.cls-1{fill:#4d4d4d;}.cls-2{fill:#fff;}Google NewsThe State Government will take steps to convert the Medical College Hospital (MCH) here  into a real referral hospital, Health Minister V S Sivakumar has said.Speaking after inaugurating the new community pharmacy counter at the hospital the other day, the Minister said that a meeting of high-level officials will be convened soon to chart out the development programmes for the hospital.Including the new one, the total number of the community pharmacy counters in the hospital which provide medicines at subsidies rates, is now seven.The Minister also opened the modernised orthopaedic ICU and wards 14, 15 and 23.Medical College ward councillor G S Sreekumar  presided over the function.Medical College Hospital superintendent Dr K Mohandas, deputy superintendent Dr Manoj T Pillai, principal-in-charge Dr P M Safiya, RMO Dr Sreenath, ARMO Dr Rishikeshan Nair and HDS office superintendent Mohanan Pillai attended the function.first published:January 01, 1970, 05:30 ISTlast updated:January 01, 1970, 05:30 IST
