NATPACs K Karunakaran Trans Park opened

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has asked the road designers and transport experts to work towards developing a safer road transport. Inaugurating the new headquarters of NATPAC at Akkulam on Friday, Chandy said NATPAC should come up with necessary research input that will complement the demands of PWD and Motor Vehicles Department.  The new campus of the premier transport research agency has been named as ‘K Karunakaran Trans Park’. Kazhakkoottam MLA M A Vaheed presided over the function. He asked the NATPAC officials to engage in research that would be beneficial to the public.  Mayor K Chandrika, district panchayat president Ramani P Nair, KCSTE chairman C T S Nair and NATPAC Inland Waterways-Highway Lab head Tomy Cyriac spoke. The newsletter of NATPAC ‘Safe Savari’ was released at the function.
