National Sample Survey from July 1

KOZHIKODE: The 68th round of the National Sample Survey (NSS) for collecting socio-economic data on household consumer expenditure, employment and unemployment data will begin on July 1. As part of this survey, a regional conference for the seven northern districts of Kerala and Mahe will be held in Kozhikode from June 21 to 24.   In the state, the survey will be conducted in select panchayat wards in the rural sector and selected urban frame survey blocks in the urban sector covering  a total of 560 samples, informed P Sangeeth Kumar, national sample survey office director in a statement.
