Mumbai police to monitor social media, texts for messages that may be a threat to communal harmony

Maharashtra: Mumbai police on Saturday issued circulars to all police stations to keep a watch on messages and exchange of information via texts and social media that could be a threat to communal harmony.

Cyber cell and media lab of Mumbai police are scanning messages that could be a threat to communal harmony. Police is gathering information on love jihad as well.
