Abhishek Sharma Gives Death Stare To Pakistan A Spinner After Aggressive Send-Off – WATCH
Abhishek opened for India A on Saturday in the T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 match against Pakistan A and scored 35 runs from 22 balls.

Star Indian batter Abhishek Sharma gave a death stare to Pakistan A spinner Sufiyan Muqeem after he celebrated Sharma’s wicket aggressively on Saturday (October 19). Abhishek was in action for India A against Pakistan A during the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 match played at Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Al Amerat. He was sent back to the pavilion by Muqeem on the first ball of the seventh over. Sharma, who has played in eight T20Is for India so far, was caught by Qasim Akram.

After Akram completed Sharma’s catch, Muqeem came up with a fiery celebration, which didn’t go down well with Sharma, who was then seen giving him a cold stare. He was separated by the on-field then, and on his way to the pavilion, he was seen saying something to the 25-year-old Pakistani star.

The video of the incident between Abhishek and Muqeem is now going viral on the internet.

Abhishek opened for India A in the match and scored 35 runs. During his stay at the crease, he faced 22 balls and hammered five fours and two sixes. The left-handed batter added 68 runs for the first wicket with Prabhsimran Singh (36) to help India post a fighting total of 183 runs on the board for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.

For India A, captain Tilak Varma top-scored by making 44 runs from 35 deliveries.

In reply to the 184-run target, Pakistan A could only manage to score 176 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs and thus fell short by seven runs. For India A, Mumbai Indians pacer Anshul Kamboj accounted for the dismissal of three Pakistan A batters, and two opposition batters each were sent back to the pavilion by Rasikh Dar Salam and Nishant Sindhu.

After thrashing Pakistan A in their first Group B match, India A will now face United Arab Emirates on Monday (October 21), and the third match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (October 23) against Oman at Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Al Amerat.
