New Delhi:Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav said on Tuesday that action would be taken against the policemen who were found trailing former prime minister V P Singh in New Delhi recently.
Three policemen, including two sub-inspectors of the Intelligence unit of the UP police, were apprehended by Delhi police when they were trailing the former PM from a hospital in Ghaziabad recently.
The CM said the matter was very serious and none found guilty in the case would be spared. He added that he had asked the concerned official to investigate the episode.
Earlier, V P Singh had complained to Union Home Ministry that UP government had engaged policemen to spy on him before the assembly polls.
