Eligibility Criteria:

Scientist C - The applicant must possess Master’s degree in Oceanography/ Marine Sciences/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Geophysics or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 1^st class in the qualifying degree.

Scientist D - The applicant must be have an MSc or MTech degree in Oceanography/ Marine Sciences/ Physics/ Mathematics / Geophysics or equivalent with 1^st Class from a recognized university.

Scientist E - The applicant must possess Master’s degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Hydrology/ Geosciences or equivalent with 1^st Class from a recognized university.

Scientist F – The applicant must possess Master’s degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Oceanography/ Marine Science/ Geophysics/ Atmospheric Sciences or equivalent with 1^st Class from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

The age of the applicants should not be more than 40 years. Age relaxation rules apply as given in the official advertisement.

Pay Scale:

Scientist C - Rs.67,700 – Rs.208,700 per month

Scientist D - Rs.78,800 – Rs.209,200 per month

Scientist E - Rs.123,100 – Rs.215,900 per month

Scientist F - Rs.131,100 – Rs.216,600 per month

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of an Interview.
