Minister tells bank staff to stay united

KOCHI: With banks all over the country facing numerous challenges, it is up  to the bank employees and officers’ associations to stay united and overcome them, Food & Civil Supplies Minister T M Jacob has said.  He was speaking after inaugurating the national convention of the Federal Bank Officers’ Association (FBOA) on Sunday.FBOA president P D Bousali,  All-India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) general secretary G D Nadaf, Federal Bank executive director Abraham Chako, AIBOC Kerala wing president P V Sivashankara Pillai, AIBOC  deputy general secretary K D Varghese, Federal Bank Employees’ Union general secretary P P Varghese, FBOA general secretary V V Mathew and Paul P Chakyath spoke.   Awards for academic excellence in class 10 and 12 were distributed to the deserving wards of Federal Bank employees at the convention.
