THODUPUZHA: A 2.3-magnitude earthquake hit Idukki distict in the wee hours of Saturday. The epicentre of the tremor was near Upputhura. Although of low-intensity, the impact of the tremor was felt in Cheruthoni, Vallakkod, Kattapana, Peermedu and in Kumili.This is the second quake to hit the region this month.
