Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had an indirect dig at DMDK leader and actor Vijayakant through a story about an ungrateful and opportunistic merchant.
Citing a story of a friendship between a big businessman and a small merchant, who had a quarrel, she said the small merchant went to an advocate to file a petition in the court against the big businessman.
However, the advocate refused to become a lawyer for the small businessman. Due to continuous pleadings by the small merchant, the advocate finally agreed to appear for his case. Finally, the small businessman got a verdict in his favour.
