Man goes missing

KOCHI: A 52-year-old man, who went to take bath in Eloor lake along with his family members, was reported missing on Sunday evening.The missing person has been identified as Jayachandran of Kuttikattukara, Eloor. The police said the incident occurred when Jayachandran tried to rescue his children who were caught in  the heavy flow of water.Though the children were rescued by the relatives, they could not spot Jayachandran.On information, the police and the Fire and Rescue team rushed to the spot and launched search operations, which continued till late into the night.
