BANGALORE: Home and Transport Minister R Ashok is in for more trouble as the Lokayukta Special Court on Thursday ordered an inquiry into the private complaint filed against him in connection with a land denotification case.Hearing on the private complaint filed against Ashok by Jayakumar Hiremath, Judge of the Lokayukta special court N K Sudheendra Rao ordered the Lokayukta SP of Bangalore city to register a case against the home minister under section 156 of CrPC and submit the inquiry report by November 5.While Ashok is accused number one in the case, former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa who in now cooling his heels in Parppana Agrahar jail on charges of illegal denotifications is accused number 2.Ashok is accused of buying 9.7 and 14 guntas of land in different survey numbers at Lottegollahalli in Bangalore North taluka acquired by the Bangalore Development Authority and later getting it denotified by Yeddyurappa who was the CM then.According to complainant these denotifications were illegal, due to which the state’s exchequer had suffered a loss of Rs 50 crore.Lokayukta court adjourns BSY petition Bangalore: Meanwhile, the Lokayukta Special Court has adjourned hearing on the fifth and sixth private complaints filed against former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa till October 28. While taking up the hearing on both the complaints on Thursday, Judge of the Lokayukta Special Court, N K Sudhindra, posted the next hearing to October 28.
