Libyan capital rocked by series of explosions

Tripoli: The Libyan capital was rocked by a series of explosions, the largest to hit the city in several weeks and thought to be the result of NATO airstrikes, early on Saturday, a Reuters witness said.

Four blasts rocked the hotel where international media were based and two more were heard slightly further off.

There was no official word on what were the possible targets or if there were any casualties.
