75 CRPF troopers were massacred in a Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday.
New Delhi: The next of kin of 75 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers massacred in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, will be given compensation of over Rs 38 lakh each, a government release said on Wednesday.
The release said that each family would be given RS 10 lakh by the central government, Rs 15 lakh from CRPF's risk fund, Rs 3 lakh by the state government and an additional Rs 10 lakh from the government's group personal accidental insurance scheme.
The statement said that one member of the killed troopers' family will be given employment in the CRPF on compassionate grounds.
