Karnataka Government request stars to participate census publicity

Bangalore: The Karnataka government is contemplating over the idea to rope in the 'Power Star' Puneeth Rajkumar to endorse the importance of caste census that will be rolling out in the state this December.

Earlier, the actor was also signed as the brand ambassador for the RTE along with actress Radhika Pandit.

Minister for Social Welfare H Anjenaya reportedly said that to create awareness on caste census, the ministry is planning to ask other Kannada actors to request people to participate in the caste census.
