Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Monday witnessed scenes of ruckus as as MLAs protested over a range of issues, including the matter of bringing back Afzal Guru's body to the Valley. The House was also adjourned for sometime.
PDP MLAs also demanded government action on the death of two police officers in Handwara and the death of a Kashmiri youth in Hyderabad.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah demanded from Prime Minister to let Afzal Guru's body return to Kashmir. Guru, the Parliament attack convict, was hanged on February 9.
