Jagans Kurnool tour ends

KURNOOL: YSR Congress party president and Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s 16-day Odarpu Yatra in Kurnool district, which commenced on July 18, ended on Tuesday with a huge public meeting at the Raj Vihar centre here.Jagan visited 140 villages in almost all the Assembly constituencies, travelling a distance of 1,050 km. He consoled the families of 37 persons who died or committed suicide on hearing the news of the demise of former chief minister and Jagan’s father YS Rajasekhara Reddy in a helicopter crash two years ago. Jagan also unveiled 152 statues of YSR in the villages he visited. Addressing people at roadside meetings, the Kadapa MP promised to bring back the ‘golden rule’ of YSR.
