London: Supermodel Miranda Kerr says she was initially reluctant to date her now-husband Orlando Bloom because she hated the idea of seeing a movie star.
The 28-year-old Australian beauty said she initially turned the actor down when he first tried to woo her, but eventually gave in after he refused to give up, reported Contactmusic.
"I was reluctant not about him, but the idea of that (him being a movie star)... I think it was his persistence (that won me over). Maybe he wanted me because he thought he couldn't have me," said Kerr.
The couple dated for three years until they got married last year. Kerr gave birth to a baby boy, Flynn, this year in January.
The Victoria's Secret model said she had refused to take any painkillers during labour but Bloom was the one who required it more then.
"I had made the decision to not have any drugs, no epidural, nothing... I remember looking at Orlando and saying 'Oh honey'... And he said, 'Give me the epidural! Seriously, if you don't want it I'll take it because right now I'm dying watching you go through this pain'. I didn't realise (Flynn) was going to be such a big baby (sic)," she said.
