New Delhi: The results for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISCE) were declared on Wednesday.
With a pass percentage of 96 for class X and 93 for class XII, girls outshone the boys once again.
A total of 91,781 students appeared for Class X exam this year, out of which 88,114 have cleared the exams - a success rate of 96 per cent.
For Class XII, out of a total of 43,034 students, 40,249 cleared the exam, a pass percentage of 93.
The pass percentage of girls in the Class X exam was 96.9 compared to 95.29 among boys.
A similar trend was seen in the class XII exam, with the pass percentage for girls 95.96 as against 91 among boys.
The highest percentage of marks secured in the class X exam was 97.6 and thatin class XII was 98.25 per cent.
The results will available at schools, and can also be accessed through SMS, Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) on phone as well as on the Internet.
The results can be accessed using IVRS on the phone numbers 55602139, 55602140 and 26476547.
Students could also log on to websites www.cisce.indiaresults.com, www.cisce.ilfsets.com and www.cisce.examresults.net.
Around 1,500 schools are affiliated to the Council in India and abroad.
