You have to spend thousands to buy coolers and more if you wish to have an air conditioner at your home. To be able to invest such a high amount for the necessities often leaves a dent in our monthly budget. In such a situation, a class 7 student has made a mini cooler with only Rs 300 in a bid to find a sustainable solution for the hefty prices of this luxury. It is small in size and requires only a bottle of water to work.
Ayan, a class 7 student of Lakshmi Nagar Ramakrishna Vidyalayam School in Kurnool town of Andhra Pradesh, made a mini cooler out of an empty can he had at home. He designed a cooler made of a small plastic box at a cost of just Rs 300. Ayan said that he designed it with the help of his teacher when a science fair was organised in the school. While explaining the process, he said that coolers can be made from small things that are available to everyone at home.
On this note, the school teacher Samina appreciated the creativity and hard work of her students and said that like Ayan, the school shelters several highly intelligent students. She said that she is happy to watch her students’ ability to concentrate on their studies and commends their unique approach towards the problems of society. She also requests the parents to be supportive of their children so that they can feel confident in their talents.
A mini cooler from a can under the budget of Rs 300 by a class 7 student is the perfect example of the limitless possibilities of children if supported and nurtured at the right age.
