Red Bull star Sebastian Vettel has revealed that he would prefer Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus as his team-mate rather than Fernando Alonso next season.
With Mark Webber deciding to leave Formula One at the end of the current season, Red Bull are in the market for a new racer to partner their triple champion Vettle.
Raikkonen and Alonso are two names said to be topping Red Bull's priority list, but Vettel made it clear that he would prefer the Iceman as his team-mate. "I'd prefer Kimi," he told BBC Sport.
"I need to be careful now, but nothing against Fernando. I really respect him a lot as a driver. But I respect Kimi on track, off track, because he has always been very straight with me. From that point of view, it would be a bit easier," the three-time world champion said.
