HYDERABAD: Justice Samudrala Govindarajulu of the AP High Court on Tuesday rejected the bail pleas of Satyam’s former chief B Ramalinga Raju and seven others and asked them to first approach a sessions court. Besides Raju, his brother and Satyam’s former managing director B Rama Raju, ex-CFO Vadlamani Srinivas, former employees G Ramakrishna, D Venkatapathi Raju, Ch Srisailam and Gupta, who are currently under judicial custody, had moved the High Court on Monday seeking bail after a local court dismissed their pleas last week. The judge pointed out that the petitioners could have moved the Sessions Court on valid grounds instead of approaching the High Court directly.
