BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of a petition by former Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu who filed a review petition seeking to quash the FIR against him.During the hearing, Senior Counsel Ravi Varma Kumar submitted that the petition is not maintainable as there are two petitions with similar grounds. He submitted that there was a petition seeking to stay the proceedings against him, which he had withdrawn earlier. Questioning how one can file another writ petition to quash the FIR when he had already withdrawn it, he also stated that the petition is not maintainable. Meanwhile, the HC on Tuesday adjourned the petition filed by Sirajin Basha, the advocate who has filed compliant against former CM B S Yeddyurappa following petition by MLA Dr Hemachandra Sagar. The petitioner has approached the court seeking to quash the proceedings against in respect of the alleged denotification of a land in Uttarahalli in his favour.
