New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by Google and Facebook challenging the trial court's order to prosecute them for objectionable content, till January 19.
Google, Facebook and 19 other social networking sites face legal action for alleged offences of promoting enmity between classes after the Government granted sanction to prosecute them on Friday.
The Government on Friday told a Delhi court that there is sufficient material to proceed against the 21 social networking sites, which included Yahoo and Microsoft for offences of promoting enmity between classes and causing prejudice to national integration.
