Undertaking) will be organising an exhibition through the Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium from September 5 to 22 at Dr AS Rao Nagar Community Hall, ECIL.The main aim of this program is to promote and create marketing facility to the handloom and handicrafts artisans by avoiding the middle man and to boost the earnings. All the varieties of cotton and silk of Andhra Pradesh and other states such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat , Jammu & Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Jharkhand are on display.About 100 artisans and weavers will be participating and exhibiting their products for sales.The exhibition will be open from 11 am to 9 pm daily and on all public holidays during the duration of the exhibition. Handlooms like Gadwal, Venkatagiri, Pochampally, Narayanpet, Uppada, Mangalagiri, Kalamkari, Cheerala, Jamdani, printed cotton sarees and Bengali and Kashmir silk will be available.
