New Delhi: Ashutosh Gowariker's mega project 'Mohenjo Daro' that was intially set to release ahead of Republic Day 2016, will now hit screens in August 2016.
'Mohenjo Daro' starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde was intially set to release Jan 22.
The movie, jointly produced by Disney India's Studio business and Ashutosh Gowariker Production Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL), will now release Aug 12, 2016, read a statement.
The film depicts a love story set during the Indus Valley civilisation.
This is Gowariker's fourth period film after 'Lagaan', "Jodhaa-Akbar" and "Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey".
The filmmaker's TV production "EVEREST" is currently on air.
