Government scheme to classify theatres

THIRUVANANTHAPUARAM: Minister for Sports and Cinema K B Ganesh Kumar will launch a State Government scheme to classify theatres here on Thursday . The classification is aimed at solving the crisis in the film industry. “The state is to be divided into three zones. Each zone will be under a committee which will inspect theatres for classifying them,” the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy said in a statement. The scheme will be launched at the Kairali Theatre here at 11 a m.
