KOCHI: Mobile phones and other gadgets worth Rs 4.5 lakh were allegedly stolen from a mobile shop at Palarivattom on Tuesday. The theft was reported in Mobile Souk near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The theft was noticed when the shop owner opened the shop in the morning. According to police, the burglars entered the shop by lifting the roof made of asbestos sheet. The theft is supposed to have taken place between 9.30 pm on Monday and 9.30 am on Tuesday. The police have registered a case and investigation is on.
