The Kalamassery police arrested five students of Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) on charges of attacking a syndicate member of KSU and two others, from the campus on Monday.
The arrested are Suhail, Sachin, Sanju Rajan, Rashin and Akhil. According to the police, the arrested attacked KSU leader Tony Rafi, 22, Bony Isaac, 20, and Dileep, 21, who were admitted to the hospital with injuries. The tussle took place on account of an arts festival organised by the University union at the campus last week.
