Howrah: There was a fire at a plastic glass manufacturing unit at Shalimar, 10 Km from Howrah, early Saturday morning. The fire broke at 2:30 am after a cylinder blast.
Fifteen fire tenders reached the location and tried their best to douse the flames which is still to be brought under control.
Two people have been reported injured in the incident. One was admitted to Howrah district hospital where the hospital superintendent said the person was being treated for asyphyxia.
The injury number can rise as nobody has been able to get inside the factory.
