An FIR was filed against senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav on charges of violating the model code of conduct.
Hajipur,(Bihar) After RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and NDA chief ministerial candidate Nitish Kumar, JD (U) Parliamentary Board chairman Sharad Yadav is in the line of fire of the Election Commission (EC) with the police registering an FIR against him.
The FIR was lodged against Sharad Yadav for allegedly violating the model code of conduct by canvassing in Mohanpur, in Raghopur Assembly constituency beyond the permitted time on Monday evening.
The FIR was lodged with Raghopur police station.
