Apparently fed up with rising prices and his inability to provide a "good life" to his family, a man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself, police said on Monday.
Santosh Makwana, 30, was employeed at a readymade garments unit and lived with his mother, wife and a three-year-old son in Ramanand Nagar in Indore, they said. Last night, Santosh's wife found him hanging from the ceiling of a room on the first floor of their house. The family and neighbours rushed him to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
A suicide note purportedly written by Santosh was found in his pocket, in which he blamed the rising inflation and his inability to provide a "good life" to his child as the reasons behind taking the extreme step, police said. A case in this regard and further probe is on, they said.
