DSSSB Recruitment Exam 2017: Online Registration to End on August 21

The online registration for DSSSB Recruitment Exam 2017 has started and Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has issued notification for approximately 1074 posts of Lower Division Clerks (LDCs), Statistical Assistants, DASS (grade II and IV) amongst various other vacancies.

The candidates eligible to apply for the above vacancies can do the online registration on the official website dsssb.nic.in. The last date to submit the online application form is 21st August 2017.

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has issued the positions and number of vacancies in a notification on the website and the following positions can be applied for:

1) Lower Division Clerk - 22 vacancies

2) DASS (Grade 2) - 262 vacancies

3) DASS (Grade 4) - 108 vacancies

4) Statistical Assistant - 79 vacancies

5) Junior Engineer (Civil) - 5 vacancies

6) Draughtsman Grade-III - 27 vacancies

7) Field Assistant - 3 vacancies

8) Food Safety Officer - 1 vacancy

9) Librarian DTTE Dept - 4 vacancies

10) Librarian Dte. Of Training - 1 vacancy

The examination will be conducted in a two-tier scheme; tier I and tier II. The questions will be of objective type / MCQ. The syllabus for both the DSSSB Recruitment 2017 exams is same however slightly higher level questions will be asked for tier 2 examination.

There are mainly 4 topics viz 1) General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability 2) Quantitative Aptitude 3) General Awareness 4) English language & Comprehension. The questions will be bilingual (Hindi / English ) except for the particular language paper.

The selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in tier I and tier II examinations and skill test/endurance test (as per the job requirement).

The exam fee is fixed at (₹100) while Women Candidates from all Categories, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman candidates are exempted from paying the fee and hence can register free.
