'Drishyam' to be remade in Kannada?

New Delhi: If reports are to be believed then some producers have shown interest in remaking Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film 'Drishyam' in Kannada. Some prominent faces of the Kannada film industry like V Ravichandran and P Vasu have shown interest in the project.

'Drishyam' has received an overwhelming support in domestic as well as foreign markets. It features Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles. It is still fetching attention at some centres.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film is about an orphan who runs a cable TV network in a rural area.

'Drishyam' was received well by the critics. Some went on to say that it is one of the best thrillers made in Malayalam in a long time.
