DMK postpones protest against bus fare hike

CHENNAI: Citing heavy rains, DMK today postponed its public meeting planned for December 1 to condemn the hike in bus fare and milk prices.Due to the heavy rains, instead of December 1, the meeting will be held in any one of the days between December 1 and December 4, a party release said.Week-long meetings in the local body areas will be held from December 5 and December 12, it said.
