While sentencing the director, Arun Panchal under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, the Court of Special Judge RP Sharma also ordered him to pay compensation of Rs 10,000 to the victim's mother.
The prosecution counsel, Indrajeet Singh Bhatia said that Panchal who had been running a school about 30 km from Indore had killed the lady teacher in the jungles near Simrol on June 27, 2011.
Initially, relations between the two were good, but after they soured, Panchal took to the jungles, under the pretext of an outing, chopped her neck and burnt her face.
