The actor walked out after having creative differences with the director.
London: Acting legend Robert DeNiro walked off the set of the movie Edge of Darkness in Massachusetts after having "creative difference" with director Martin Campbell.
The film was being shot for almost a month. DeNiro was on set for just a few days when he started arguing with the director, reports thesun.co.uk.
A spokesman for the actor said, "Sometimes things don't work out. It's called creative differences."
DeNiro was supposed to play an operative sent to clean up the evidence in the murder of a young woman. Mel Gibson stars as the victim’s father. The movie is a remake of the classic 1980's BBC series, which was also directed by Campbell.
