New Delhi: A firing incident has been reported from liquor baron Ponty Chadha's farmhouse in Delhi's Chhattarpur area in which one person has been killed. The person killed is said to be Ponty Chadha’s brother while the guard of the farmhouse has been injured.
Ponty Chadha, who has several private bodyguards, was present inside the farmhouse when the firing incident took place. But there are no reports of whether he was injured or not.
The police reached the spot after they received a call about the firing. Incidentally, this is the second such incident at Ponty Chadha's residence less than a month. On October 5, a case of shooting took place inside his ancestral home in Moradabad.
Ponty Chadha's real name is Gurpreet Chadha and he is the sole liquor distributor in Uttar Pradesh. He also has business interests in real estate, sugar mills and film production.
