Tamil Nadu: Cyclone Baaz is expected to hit the Tamil Nadu coast on Friday morning.
Every time there's a cyclone warning from the Chennai weatherman, the cyclone goes away elsewhere. For once the Meterological department is hoping that it's predictions go wrong.
"Already people are suffering, as water is upto the brim in lakes, if this comes it will play havoc," S R Ramanan, Director, Area Cyclone Warning Center, Chennai said.
Baaz was expected to cross the coast on Thursday. But it has stayed where it was?400 kilometres, south east of Chennai?and not really moving.
It's now expected to hit the coast on Friday morning. And so the cyclone alert continues and fishermen are staying away from the sea.
What's frustrating and worrying the Chennai weatherman is that Bazz has not shown significant movement for a while now.
Every cyclone has it's own agenda and it's now a nervous wait for people on coastal Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to find out what's on Bazs's agenda.
