HYDERABAD: After MLAs, the Congress has now trained its guns on MLCs, who have been sailing with the YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the state.The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) on Friday lodged a complaint with the Legislative Council chairman A Chakrapani against three MLCs - Konda Murali,Pulla Padmavati and S V Mohan Reddy for resorting to antiparty activities. The CLP urged the council chairman to disqualify all the three MLCs for defying the party.The CLP also enclosed newspaper cuttings and CDs as proof of their anti- party activities along with their complaint. Government whip in the Council Y Sivaramireddy and other party MLCs met the Council chairman and submitted the petition. Reddy said all the three did not have any right to continue as MLCs because they were elected on party’s name.Council chairman Chakrapani said he would act on the disqualification petitions as per rules after due consultation with constitutional and legal experts.
