ROURKELA: The Congress members on Wednesday accused Housing and Urban Development Minister Sarada Prasad Nayak of maintaining double standards as far as removal of illegal encroachments in the town is concerned. Former Rourkela municipal chairman and Congress councillor Ramesh Bal said the Minister should take note that several BJD leaders were facing encroachment charges.He urged Nayak to set an example by taking stern action against them.In a release, Bal claimed that a public urinal at Power House Road was converted into a shop by a BJD leader and rented out. He added that some more BJD leaders are behind encroachment of a puja pandal at Koelnagar to convert it into a commercial godown and a shop is being carved out from the premises of a health centre there.
