KOCHI: The Children’s Film Festival organised by the Kerala Children’s Film Society in association with the Kerala State Chalachithra Academy will begin here on Monday. The event will showcase three movies - ‘Children of Heaven,’ ‘T D Dasan Std VI B’ and ‘Malli’ and three short films directed and scripted by children - ‘Bhoomi Maayumbol,’ ‘Ammakezhuthiya Kathu’ and ‘Cheruthullikal.’ Director Sibi Malayil will inaugurate the three-day festival at 10 am on Monday at AJ Hall, Kaloor. The film screenings will be preceded by an interaction with eminent personalities in the industry. The festival will conclude on Wednesday.The Kerala Children’s Film Society is an organisation functioning in association with Directorate of Public Instruction. The society aims to promote film education among school children.
