CHENNAI: Chennai region has yet again topped the CBSE Class 12 results, with an overall pass percentage of 91.32, announced here on Monday. Tamil Nadu has recorded a pass percentage of 96.84. At the national level too, there is a 1.84 percentage point increase in the pass percentage, compared to 2010.In Tamil Nadu, out of 6,750 students who appeared for the exams, 6,537 students passed, 34 students failed and 21 students were absent for the exams. A total of 178 students had failed in one subject and were eligible for compartmental exam. The pass percentage among girls in Tamil Nadu was again higher with 97.31 and among boys, it was 96.53 per cent.From the Chennai region, a total of 61,337 students had appeared of whom 56,012 students passed.
