CAT results
The much-awaited results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) have been announced on Wednesday.
The Indian Institutes of Management along with the US-based Prometric India, conducted the test online for the second time in 2010.
This year the test window was extended to a 20 day period from the 10 day window of 2009.
Airbus
In the biggest aircraft purchase in commercial aviation history, low-cost airline IndiGo will be buying 180 A320 aircraft from Airbus.
At a cost of $15.6 billion, IndiGo will also be buying 150 of upgraded neo versions. Airbus has said that this is the biggest single large jetliner order in commercial aviation history.
The provisional order includes 30 classic A320s - Airbus' best-selling model which carries 150 people on short and medium routes - and 150 upgraded versions of the same aircraft, which Airbus says will offer airlines fuel savings from 2016.
IPL
Making his annoyance felt after being left out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction pool, Manish Pandey has refused to sign contract with the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the fourth season of the mega event, sources told CNN-IBN.

NIFTY
The BSE benchmark Sensex on Wednesday recovered by over 183 points in the opening trade, snapping its six-session losing streak, on selective buying by funds, and a firm trend on the other Asian bourses.
The Sensex, which had lost nearly 1,365 points in last six sessions, rose by 183.21 points to trade at 19,379.55 with banking, IT, oil and gas and realty sectors leading the rebound.
Similarly, the broad-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty, shot up by 61.65 points to 5,815.75 points.
