New Delhi: Cuban leader Fidel Castro's condition is reported to be very grave.
Spanish newspaper El Pais on Tuesday, quoted the doctor from Spain who attended on Castro recently saying Castro is in "very grave" condition after three failed operations and complications from an intestinal infection.
The report says that Castro suffered from a serious infection of the large intestine and remains in serious condition. It adds that the ailing leader is being fed intravenously.
The Cuban, who took power in Cuba in 1959, is 80 years old.
He underwent intestinal surgery on July 31 and has not been seen in public since July last year. The country is being run by his brother Raul.
The Cuban government has released at least one video of him.
