Rajasthan BJP on Monday said it will hold organisational meetings to strengthen the relation between government and the party in its ten divisions on June 14.
"The organisational meetings would be held in Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Sikar, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur and Banswara divisions, party state president Ashok Parnami told reporters in Jaipur. Party's district president, elected MLAs, MPs, Zila Pramukh, Pradhan, chairpersons of civic bodies and state-level functionaries would hold the meetings in each of the ten divisions, he said.
On a question whether expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh's son Manvendra Singh, who was suspended from the party for his anti-party activities, will be taken back, Parnami said his case was being referred to the disciplinary committee as he has not made any reply to the show cause notice served to him before the Lok Sabha polls.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot also appointed two member observers in seven districts of Ajmer, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. Observers would organise meetings with the district and Panchayat level party functionaries from June 20 to 30 to prepare a report, Pilot said.
