Bhopal: Junior doctors in Bhopal have rejected the government's appeal to call off the strike. They say there is 'no question' of calling off the agitation.
Junior Doctors Association's Bhopal unit president Amit Tyagi said the junior doctors reached the private People's Medical College in a rally and blocked the bypass road for a brief period.
Dr Tyagi said doctors will strongly oppose the government move for OBC reservation in higher education institutions.
Meanwhile, health services in the state capital's Hamidia Hospital remained paralysed though the hospital authorities claimed emergency cases were being attended to by senior doctors.
Junior doctors at Indore, Gwalior, Rew and Jabalpur were also on strike.
