Bangalore: The horrific footage of a woman banker being attacked and robbed inside an ATM booth of a public sector bank (Corporation Bank) has gone viral. The seriously injured woman Jyothi Uday is said to be out of danger and recovering at a super specialty BGS hospital in Bangalore.
The video of the incident is being shared on social networking sites across the world.
This terrible incident is trending on the micro blogging site Twitter. People are expressing anger, horror and shock over the incident. Many people are saying that they may have to think twice before entering an ATM to withdraw money or to do any other transaction.
Some of them have even come out with the suggestions to improve the safety of ATM booths. Former Chief Election Commissioner of India Dr SY Queraishi and Congress MP and famous Kannada heroine Ramya have also tweeted expressing horror over the incident.
