New Delhi: Apple's long-rumoured wearable device, dubbed iWatch, has reportedly gone into production. According to a report from Taiwan-based China Times, Apple's suppliers have started producing the company's first wearable device in limited quantities.
The device is expected to be released in the fall of 2014. Reportedly, the company will initially ship 2 to 3 million units.
Many Apple observers are also betting on a successful product emerging from its secretive labs in Cupertino, California in the second half of this year - perhaps an iWatch for users to wear on their wrist. Chief Executive Tim Cook has promised new product categories for 2014.
There is no confirmation on the same as Apple prefers not to talk about new products under development so as not to tip off the competition.
